ALASKA OCTOPUS GUMBO

INGREDIENTS:

  • ½  cup Bacon, diced
  • 2 cup Water
  • 1 pt Fresh octopus, steam until tender
  • 2 cup Steamed rice, slightly undercooked
  • 1 lb Tomatoes
  • 1 can Okra
  • ½ cup Onions, diced
  • 1 x Green pepper, diced
  • ¼ tsp Cayenne
  • ½ cup Celery, diced
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

METHOD:

Boil bacon in water for 15 minutes, then add the rest of the ingredients.
Simmer together for ten minutes.  Serve with warm cornbread.
